BUIES CREEK, N.C. – College of Charleston baseball heads on the road to take on Campbell March 27-29. First pitch in the opener from Jim Perry Stadium is slated for 6 p.m.

- Charleston lost to Georgia Southern, 5-2, Wednesday evening at home.
- Graduate Dylan Johnson threw out his 42nd career runner, tying him with Erven Roper for the program record.
- Freshman Jake Amman has a nine-game hitting streak. Amman is hitting .361 (13-for-36) with six runs, four extra-base hits, four stolen bases and a .995 OPS during the span.
- Freshman Austin Wiegandt threw 3.0 innings out of the bullpen, a season-high for the freshman.
- Wiegandt has allowed just one earned run across his last four outings, pitching to a 1.08 ERA in that span.
- First year reliever Kaden Myers has a 2.13 ERA in six conference appearances. Myers is 2-0 in league play, holding opponents to a .227 batting average in 12.2 innings.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Charleston is 16-18 versus Campbell and 7-7 as the road team. The Cougars have won four of the last six matchups and knocked the Camels out of the 2025 CAA Baseball Championship with a thrilling 12-11 victory May 23, 2025, at Patriots Point.
