
Charleston Hosts N.C. A&T, Visits Campbell

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's tennis team is set for two more CAA matches. The Cougars will first host N.C. A&T on Saturday before visiting Campbell on Monday afternoon.
We're facing two more much improved CAA teams as we fight for a spot in the CAA Championship, Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo said. It will be a fun two matches.

MATCH #17 — College of Charleston (9-6, 3-2) at Campbell (4-9, 2-0) | Monday, March 30 | 2:30 p.m. | Nisbet Tennis Center | Buies Creek, N.C.

MATCHUP HISTORY VS. N.C. A&T — Charleston is 7-0 all-time against North Carolina A&T. The Cougars last defeated the Aggies in 2025 when they swept them 7-0.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES — The Aggies are 1-1 in CAA play and are coming off a 4-3 win over Hampton on Sunday, March 22. N.C. A&T lost 7-0 to Elon in late February and the Aggies are 5-3 on the year.
MATCHUP HISTORY VS. CAMPBELL — Charleston holds a 3-4 all-time record against Campbell. The Camels defeated the Cougars 4-3 at the Turner Tennis Center last season.
SCOUTING THE CAMELS — The Camels are 2-0 in CAA play and have beaten Hofstra and Stony Brook. Campbell is 4-9 overall and will face UNC Asheville on Saturday before the matchup against Charleston.
AWARDS – The Cougars have earned two Coastal Athletic Association Doubles Team of the Week awards this season. Most recently, Oziera Ahmad and Riley Trinkle earned the honor on March 24 after going 3-0 on the No. 2 court and helping Charleston earn two conference wins. Sia Cariov and Francesca Salvato earned the award on March 10 after winning on court one and helping Charleston earn the critical doubles point in the Cougars' 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Bulls on Friday.
LAST TIME OUT – The Cougars gutted out a 4-3 win over Drexel on Wednesday, March 25.
UP NEXT – CofC will be back in action on Wednesday, April 1 for a pair of home matches against Stetson and Randolph-Macon. First serve for the Stetson match is at 1:30 p.m. and the match against
Randolph-Macon is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
