The Cougar men's team improves to 9-4 overall and 5-0 in the Southern Conference, while the women's team goes to 8-5 and 4-0. The UNC Greensboro men's team falls to 2-7 and 1-2. The women's team drops to 2-5 and 1-1.
CofC men's tennis player Dekel, who has not lost since a three-set decision against Clemson to open the season, defeated Greg Levy at the number one singles, while Spartan Marc-Andre Ladouceur earned the only victory of the afternoon with the win over Timo Siebert. Bastian Moldhenke, Arthure Peller, Philipp Koller and Liran Kling posted the remainder of the Cougars singles victories. The Cougars also swept the doubles matches to earn that point and come away with the 6-1 win.
The women's team opened play with the sweep in doubles to go up 1-0 heading into the singles matches. Four singles matches were won in two sets, with Whitney Malina, Maxine Capewell, Andreea Niculescu and Laure Green coming away with those victories. Rachel Magory and Gabriella Moreira both went into third-set tie-breakers to win their respective matches.
The Cougar women's team takes the week off before hosting UNC Wilmington Saturday Mar. 20th at 2:00 PM at Patriots Point. The men's team host 28th-ranked Tennessee Sunday Mar. 14th at 10:00 AM.
