#articleRelated { display: none !important; } The Cougars dropped the doubles point but came back to win all singles matches to take the 6-1 win over the UNC Wilmington Seahawks in women's tennis action this afternoon at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

The Cougars improve to 9-5 overall, while the Seahawks drop to 8-5 on the year.

UNC Wilmington took victories in number one and three doubles to take the point at the beginning of the match and give the Seahawks the early 1-0 lead.

Gabriela Moreira, Whitney Malina, Maxine Capewell, Andreea Niculescu, Lauren Stewart and Jenna Marks all took the singles matches in straight sets to secure the eventual win for the Cougars

The College of Charleston will try to stay undefeated in Southern Conference play as it hosts Davidson Sunday, Mar. 21st at 10:00 AM at Patriots Point..
