#articleRelated { display: none !important; } The College of Charleston only dropped one game in singles play to defeat Columbia College, 7-0, in women's tennis action tonight at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The win gives the Cougars their fourth in a row to go to 11-5 on the year, while Columbia drops to 4-7.

Whitney Malina, Jenna Marks, Laure Garcon, Charlotte Wilson, Jennifer Hancock and Anne Myers all picked up the singles wins for the Cougars, with all but one in 0-0 sweeps.

The Cougars return to conference play this coming weekend as they travel to Wofford Mar. 26th for a 2:00 PM match before heading to Furman Mar. 27th for an 11:00 AM start. Charleston finished last season just behind Furman for the SoCon regular season championship.
