#articleRelated { display: none !important; } The College of Charleston put together four wins in singles play to defeat the Hampton Pirates, 4-2, this afternoon in women's tennis action at Patriots Point. The men's team was scheduled to play Florida A&M as well but inclement weather prevented the start and was cancelled.

The Cougars dropped the doubles point after losing two out of three matches, but rebounded with wins at the number two, three, four and five singles to clinch the victory. Number one singles did not finish play.

The College of Charleston, now 7-4 on the year, hosts South Carolina Mar. 11th at 5:00 PM, while the men's team plays Hampton at 11:00 AM at Patriots Point Sunday, Mar. 7th.
