The Cougars improve to 17-7 overall with the win. The Bulldogs fall to 11-7.
Aside from Malina and Willis, Gabriella Moreira, Rachel Magory and Andreea Niculescu picked up straight set wins for the College of Charleston. Alexis Panton took the lone Bulldog win, defeating Jenna Marks 6-4, 6-3.
The Cougars take part in the Southern Conference Tournament at The Citadel April 22-25.
