#articleRelated { display: none !important; } UNC Greensboro only picked up on singles win as the Spartans lost 6-1 to College of Charleston in Southern Conference women's tennis today at the UNCG Tennis Courts.

The match started on Saturday was suspended until this afternoon at 4:00 PM due to inclement weather that moved into the area.

The Cougars improve to 15-4 overall and 7-1 in the SoCon with UNC Greensboro dropping to 6-9 and 4-3 in the league

Charleston won all but five singles matches, with four coming in straight-sets. The Cougars also came out on top in each of the three doubles pro-sets. Gabriela Moreira picked up her 15th singles win in a row after taking care of Emily Wade at number two singles 6-0, 6-0.

UNCG will host Davidson for a SoCon tilt at 3:00 PM on Wednesday. The Cougars host East Carolina April 8th at 4:00 PM at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
