The duo of Rachel Magory and Chelsea Albertz took number two doubles with the 8-6 win over Stephanie Tyrell/Kimberly Wollett, while Priscilla Roberts/Maxine Capewell defeated Charlotte Bruneteaux/Heather Reynolds at number three, 8-2.
Magory earned the 6-3, 6-1 win over Tyrell at number one singles and Gabriela Moreira took the 6-0, 6-3 victory over Ciara Finucane at number two. In the only other match to finish Roberts won 6-3, 6-4 against Wollett.
With the win the Cougars (18-5) advance to play the Davidson Wildcats Saturday the 23rd at 10:30 AM at The Citadel tennis courts.
