Georgia, which has outscored the opposition 16-1 this season, improved to 4-0-0 with the win. Charleston fell to 0-2-0.
Erin Sekerak's goal at the 19:52 mark gave UGA at 1-0 lead. The Cougars tied it with 4:43 left in the half on a goal by Teryn Schuetz.
Missy Veirling's goal at the 53:54 mark gave the Bulldogs the lead for good a 2-1. Ali Williams scored an insurance goal off an assist from Kristin Garman with 10:20 left in the match.
The Cougars host Virginia Tech at 7:30 on Friday in the College of Charleston Classic at Patriots Point Field.
