This is the first year the College of Charleston women's basketball team and the Sports Marketing and Promotions Department has hosted this event.
The Cougars are 4-7 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Conference after defeating the Wofford Terriers, 59-50, this past Saturday at the John Kresse Arena. Charleston is 3-1 at home this year. Furman is 7-7 overall and 3-1 in the league, just falling to UNC Greensboro, 69-66 on Saturday as well. The two teams split the series last year, with the Cougars taking the 57-47 win at home Jan. 15, 2005.
Come out and support the College of Charleston Cougars. It is a great way to spend an evening with your daughter cheering on your favorite team.
