CofC Women's Tennis Falls 6-1 to Richmond

Richmond won all but one singles matches and took the doubles point to earn the 6-1 win over the College of Charleston in women's tennis action this morning at the tennis center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The Cougars drop to 4-7, while the Spiders improve to 4-5

Richmond opened the match with three wins at doubles to earn the point heading into singles play. The Spiders were then able to take all but one singles match to earn the 6-1 win. Chelsea Albertz was the lone Cougar to take victory, earning the 7-5, 6-0 win over Pamela Duran at number two sinlges.

Richmond travels to Charleston Southern the 8th for a 1:00 PM match, while the Cougars stay home and face Bucknell the 14th at 11:00 AM
