
Bobby Cremins Inducted Into N.Y. City Basketball Hall of Fame

College of Charleston head basketball coach Bobby Cremins was inducted last Thursday into the New York City Basketball Hall of Fame.
Cremins, who led the Cougars to a 22-11 record last season, was inducted during a ceremony hosted by the New York Athletic Club.
Cremins joined a prestigious list of 2007 New York basketball inductees that included Walter Berry, Al Bianchi, Mario Elie, Ed Pinckney, Hank Rosenstein, TV announcer Bob Wolff and the late Burt Beagle.
Other friends of Cremins who are members of the hall of fame include his college coach at South Carolina the late Frank McGuire, his freshman coach at USC Buck Freeman, USC teammate John Roche and Molloy High School coach Jack Curran, who mentored such greats as Kenny Anderson and Kenny Smith.
