Final Basketball Season in F. Mitchell Johnson Center/John Kresse Arena Sold Out

Entering the final basketball season in the F. Mitchell Johnson Center's John Kresse Arena, the College of Charleston has once again sold out of season tickets for men's basketball.
The school's new Carolina First Center, which will seat 5,000, is slated to open for the 2008-09 campaign.
"This is a tribute to our loyal fans and the tradition of great success that John Kresse established years ago," said coach Bobby Cremins, whose team plays host to Augusta State in an exhibition contest on Nov. 1st at 7:00. "Our new arena will be a welcomed addition next year."
Cougar fans who do not currently hold season tickets for men's basketball can guarantee their place in the new arena by securing a spot on the season ticket waitlist. You must be a Cougar Club member to be placed on the list. Your tax deductible gift to the Cougar Club allows you to build valuable priority points that will be used during the seat selection process in the new arena.
With the season ticket sellout, the athletic department has opened a small allotment of tickets for the games during winter break. This will give all Cougar fans an opportunity to experience “The House that Kresse Built” one last time before moving to the new facility. Membership in the Cougar Club, the school's athletic scholarship fund, begins at just $100 and supports Charleston student-athletes. Please contact the Cougar Club at 843-953-8255 to be placed on the men's basketball season ticket waitlist.
The Cougars host Maroon Madness on Thursday beginning at 7:00 at John Kresse Arena. Maroon Madness includes scrimmages by the men's and women's basketball squads.
