The win brings the Eagles record to 6-2-1, while the Cougars fall to 6-3-1.
The first half of the match ended with no score. Cougar defenders Ryan Kell and Doug Edwards helped hold the Eagles to just one shot in the first 45 minutes of play. CofC ended the half with four shots.
The Cougars came close to scoring first when Matt Morris headed a ball into the net only to have it called back due to a foul.

The second half proved to be intense and physical. There was a combined total of 40 fouls and CofC received three cautions during the match.

The Cougars held a 16-12 shot advantage. Morris and Kareem Yearwood led the team with three shots each. Justin Fojo, Drew Fuzy and Guthrie took three shots, while Wes Knight, Edwards and Branko Gavric each had one.
Eagle goalie Patrick Mitrovich had 10 saves for the evening, while Corbin Waller made four saves for CofC.
