
Draper Earns NABC All-District Honors

College of Charleston senior guard Dontaye Draper has earned NABC Division I second team All-District 5 honors, it was announced today by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The NABC Division I All-District teams recognizes the nation's best men's collegiate basketball student-athletes.
Draper, a senior from Baltimore, has started all 30 games and is averaging 15.5 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. He also earned first team All-Southern Conference honor in a vote of the league's 11 head coaches.
Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. The 150 student-athletes, from 15 districts, are now eligible for the NABC Division I All-America teams to be announced at the conclusion of the 2006-07 NCAA regular season.
