The victory improves CofC to 19-6 overall, while the loss drops Wofford to 6-13.
The Cougars won two out of the three doubles matches to earn one team point. CofC then proceeded to win three consecutive singles matches to clinch the victory.
All-SoCon First Team member Chelsea Albertz improved to 15-10 in singles matches this season with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Merry Ellen Henry of Wofford for CofC in the No. 1 singles match. CofC's Holly Dowse, an All-SoCon Second Team member, won her match over Mckenzie Carson, 6-2, 6-1, in the No. 4 singles match and improved her record to 16-2. Dowse has won her last 11 singles matches. Amber Dyar grabbed the clinching triumph for the Cougars with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Morgan Mills.
