STATESBORO, Ga. ? The College of Charleston women's tennis team closed out the regular-season Southern Conference portion of its schedule with a 7-0 win over Georgia Southern at the Hanner Tennis Complex on Wednesday
The Cougars, who improved to 21-3 overall and 8-1 in SoCon play, finish the regular season on Saturday in a 10:30 a.m. match at Mercer. The Eagles fell to 9-10 and 2-6.
Anna Lee Evans defeated Christine Caforio 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5 singles en route to her 16th straight victory.
