Women's Soccer set to take on USC-Upstate

The College of Charleston's women's soccer team will have their first road match of the season on Friday when it travels to Spartanburg, S.C. to take on USC-Upstate. The match is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Last weekend, the Cougars opened the season with back-to-back victories over Jacksonville and North Florida. Freshman Hope Atkinson scored a goal in each contest, including the game-winner against North Florida.

Meanwhile, senior Megan Manthey has recorded an assist on each of the three goals the Cougars have scored on the young season.

USC-Upstate comes into the match following a 2-1 victory over Charleston Southern in the team's season opener on Monday.

The Cougars will return to action on Tuesday, September 2^nd when they take on Presbyterian at Patriots Point. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
