
College of Charleston Soccer to host Saturn of Charleston/Nike Soccer Classic

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The College of Charleston men's soccer team is hosting the annual Saturn of Charleston/Nike Soccer Classic at Patriots Point Stadium beginning Thursday.
Stetson battles Alabama A&M in the opener at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, while the Cougars play host to Jacksonville at 7:30. The Classic concludes on Saturday with Jacksonville taking on Alabama A&M at 1 p.m., then Charleston will play host to Stetson at 3:30 to wrap-up the classic.
The Cougars enter the weekend with a 4-3-0 record and are led offensively by Matt Morris. Morris leads the team and the Southern Conference with 11 points and has scored five goals, also a conference best. As a team, the Cougars lead the SoCon in points (37), goals (13) and assists (11).
