The College of Charleston blanked Presbyterian, 7-0, in women's tennis action at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point on Saturday.
With the win, the Cougars improved to 2-1 on the season, while Presbyterian fell to 0-2. The College of Charleston returns to action on Sunday, Feb. 8 when they play host Stetson at 9:30 a.m. and Winthrop at 12:45 p.m.
After the Cougars swept all three doubles match to grab a 1-0 lead, Holly Dowse downed Megan Davis 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 singles for a 2-0 advantage.
Keely Mulligan, playing at No. 4 singles, earned a 6-0, 6-0 win over Cara Caruso. Link Leskosky beat Heather Isbell 6-0, 7-6 at No. 1, Laura Borza downed Abby Diminich 6-4, 6-0 at No. 2 and Amanda Schwarz earned a 6-2, 6-3 decision over Daryl Thompson at No. 6.
