CofC Men?s Golf Finishes Sixth at Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational

Tim Tang (North Charleston, S.C.) rebounded from a 79 in the first round and shot a 70 in the second to total a 149 and lead the College of Charleston men's golf team to sixth at the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational held Feb. 9-10 at the Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. The Cougars posted a 607 in the 36 hole event.
San Jose State won the tournament with a two-day total of 584. Washington State placed second with a 590.
Tang finished tied for 13 for the Cougars, while Soonam Kim (Goose Creek, S.C.) tied for 16 with a 150. Cabe Prieskorn (Texarkana, Texas) tied for 41 with a 154. Harrison Moore (Orangeburg, S.C.) and Coy Breen (San Antonio, Texas) tied for 56 with their 157 each.
Charleston is next in action at the Lonnie D. Small Spring Classic in Bires Creek, N.C., Mar. 2-3.
