
CofC?s Branko Gavric to Represent Canada in World University Games

CHARLESTON, S.C. ? College of Charleston men's soccer player Branko Gavric (Toronto, Ontario) has been selected to represent Canada in the 2009 World University Games, which will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from July 1-12.
Gavric, a midfielder, returns to his native country of Serbia in the games.
The junior played and started in all 21 matches for the Cougars during the 2008 season. He scored a goal (an eventual game-winner against Stetson) and recorded an assist on the year. For his efforts, Gavric was an All-Southern Conference selection.
The College of Charleston men's soccer team will open their 2009 season on Sept. 1st when they host Coastal Carolina.
