College of Charleston Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Lady Northern

The College of Charleston women's golf team fired a 944 in three rounds to finish 13th at the Lady Northern Intercollegiate held Sept. 27-28 at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisc. Purdue won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 865.
The Ohio State and Michigan State tied for second with an 878 apiece. Taking individual medalist honors was Purdue's Maude-Aimee LeBlanc with a 210.
Freshmen Ainhoa Nogales (Pozuelo de Alarcon, Spain) and Vanessa Koechli (Greer, S.C.) led the Cougars with a 236 total each for a tie at 46th, while Leigh Whittaker (Baden-Baden, Germany) tied for 60th with a 238.
Tied for 63rd was Katharina Boehm (Poing, Germany) with a three round total of 239. Anna Martin (Easley, S.C.) shot a 240 to tie for 66th and tied for 82nd was Emily Rapp (Simpsonville, S.C.) with a 247.
Charleston next travels up the road to Charleston Southern to play in the Wendy's Intercollegiate Oct. 19-20.
