
Women's Hoops Travels To Dayton Beach For Gerty Homecoming

CofC is looking to rebound from a close 44-43 decision to Coastal Carolina on Tuesday night at Carolina First Arena, while B-CU will play in only its second game of the season with a 70-53 season-opening win against Florida Memorial on Nov. 12.
The Cougars are currently paced by preseason All-Southern Conference Team selection Tonia Gerty (Port Orange, Fla.) who is making a homecoming to the Sunshine State and Daytona area this weekend. The super senior is currently averaging 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 rebounds per game and has led the team in scoring in each of their three contests including a season-high 19 points in a 49-46 victory over 2010 NCAA Tournament participant Liberty, a team ranked No. 21 in the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, in the Sheraton Raleigh Wolfpack Invitational on Nov. 13.
Upon their return from Florida, the Cougars will entertain a two-game homestand versus USC-Aiken on Monday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. (ET) and Kansas State on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 2 p.m. (ET) at Carolina First Arena.
