2011 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby To Re-Air On CBS College Sports

The 2011 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby will re-air on CBS College Sports at various times in the next week. College of Charleston redshirt-freshman Daniel Aldrich won the event on July 2 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb.
Fans can catch all the action from the Derby on July 5 at 9 p.m., July 6 at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m., July 7 at 7 p.m., July 10 at 10 p.m., July 13 at 9 p.m., and July 14 at 2 a.m. on the CBS College Sports Network. The event will also re-air on CBS on Sunday, August 14, at noon.
Aldrich defeated Georgia Southern's Victor Roache by a 4-2 margin in the final round of the event. Both players advanced to the finals after tallying a combined 14 home runs in the first two rounds of the event.
The first-place finish by the Cougar outfielder marked yet another impressive accolade for the local native of Mt. Pleasant, S.C. Aldrich was named the NCBWA Freshman Player of the Year, while being selected as a Baseball America All-American and ABCA/Rawlings All-American.
