
Wiggins Named To Mid-Major Defensive All-America Team

BOSTON - College of Charleston's Antwaine Wiggins (Greeneville, Tenn.) was named to the 2012 CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Defensive All-America Team on Tuesday.
Wiggins, a 6-foot-7 senior forward who is on track to graduate from The College in May, finished his playing career with 127 career steals and 122 career blocked shots. He also left his mark as the fourth all-time leading rebounder (702 rebounds) and seventh all-time leading scorer (1,306 points) in CofC's Division I history. Leading into the 2011-12 season, Wiggins was tabbed as one of the best perimeter defenders in the nation by CBSSports.com.
He recently signed with a pair of NBA and FIBA agents, Michael Whitaker and Nick Lotsos, with plans of scheduling workouts this summer with NBA teams and participating in the summer league as well as continuing his playing career overseas.
