Cougars Practice At NCAA Gainesville Regional

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The College of Charleston baseball team practiced at Florida's McKethan Stadium on Thursday afternoon in preparation for Friday's NCAA Regional matchup with No. 24 Georgia Tech.
"We're just trying to get acclimated to the ballpark," head coach Monte Lee said. "We focused on infield defense to get a feel for the playing surface. We had a good session of batting practice to get some swings in. Everybody's up-tempo and positive about the weekend."
The Cougars will open the NCAA Gainesville Regional with a 1 p.m. game against Georgia Tech tomorrow afternoon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3, as well as ESPN 910 AM. Fans can also follow on the Cougars' twitter account: @CofCBaseball.
