
College of Charleston Baseball Completes Successful Alumni Weekend

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Nearly 30 former student-athletes relived their glory days with the newest version of the College of Charleston baseball team as the 2016 Cougars defeated the Right Field Renegades (Alumni), 8-2, Saturday at Patriots Point.
“It was a great weekend for former and current players,” head coach Matt Heath said. “I was very pleased that so many of our former player were able to make it back and participate in Alumni Weekend. These are the guys the build this program and have produced so many moments that have made College of Charleston baseball great.”
The First-Ever Alumni Weekend consisted of a golf tournament on Friday and culminated with a seven-inning game and cookout on Saturday.
