CofC Baseball Program Ranked as One of Nation?s Best

CHARLESTON, S.C. – D1Baseball.com has classed the College of Charleston baseball program as one of the best in the nation in a recently released ranking.
The CofC program was ranked 37th on the Top 100 Programs list, the highest of three Colonial Athletic Association teams included in the standings.
The Cougars have finished ranked in the top 20 in the national polls in each of the last two seasons. In 2014, the team advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals, while last year The College played Florida State in the Tallahassee Regional final.
The D1Baseball.com rankings were compiled taking into consideration recent history, coaching staff quality, facilities, scholarship/financial aid situation, conference dynamics, and recruiting and player development proficiency.
