CofC Basketball Profile: Grant Riller

College of Charleston 6-foot-3 men's basketball freshman guard Grant Riller (Ocoee, Fla.) is ready to contribute this season after redshirting the 2015-16 season due to injury.
Riller is one of six talented guards on the Cougars' roster, who can play between the point guard and shooting guard positions. He also had a year to learn and observe on the sidelines with fellow teammate Joe Chealey.
"Grant has gotten bigger and stronger," CofC Head Coach Earl Grant said. "His basketball I.Q. also went up during the year out. He is a very special, talented player that can really score the ball in a lot of different ways. Grant is athletic and fast. He has a good feel for the game with the ball in his hand and can play some point.
"He will have to be patient coming off of his year of injury, because it's going to take time for him to get back to full strength. However, he had a great summer and got his confidence back. Grant is going to have a great career here at College of Charleston."
