Hoyt Trophy, Mrs. Hurst Highlight Three-Regatta Slate For Cougars

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- Another full slate of racing awaits the College of Charleston sailing team this weekend, as the Cougars travel to the Mrs. Hurst Bowl on Saturday and Sunday in Enfield, N.H., and the Sherman Hoyt Trophy on Saturday and Sunday in Providence, R.I., and will also host the SAISA Match Race Championship on Saturday at the J. Stewart Walker Sailing Complex.
Alie Toppa and Caroline Bracken (Bridgewater, Mass.) will anchor the Cougars in A-Division at the Mrs. Hurst, with Paris Henken (Coronado, Calif.) and Annabel Carrington (White Stone, Va.) sailing B-Division. At the Hoyt Trophy, senior Stefano Peschiera (Lima, Peru) will skipper A-Division alongside senior crew Grace McCarthy (San Diego, Calif.), with Augie Dale (Pewaukee, Wis.) skippering B-Division with Katie Lounsbury (Jensen Beach, Fla.) and Carter Cameron (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) serving as crew.
The quartet of Christophe Killian (Newport Beach, Calif.), Jack Thompson (Newport Beach, Calif.), Elizabeth Pemberton (Osterville, Mass.), and Dirk Johnson will represent the Cougars at the SAISA Match Race on Saturday.
