CHARLESTON, S.C. – Kirsty Brodie (Blairgowrie, Scotland) has signed her National Letter of Intent to play for the College of Charleston women's golf team next season.
Currently a member of the Scottish Girls National Team, Brodie has represented Scotland at the last two European Girls Team Championships. She finished as joint top Scottish finisher in 2017. Brodie also represented her country at the Home Internationals tournament, which is an annual championship event played over three days and featuring teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
"We are very pleased to have Kirsty join our program," CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said "She is one of the top players in Scotland and should make an immediate impact to our program next fall."
Brodie's golf resume also includes winning the University of St. Andrews Invitational (Renee Powell Cup) and finishing second at the Scottish U21's Faldo Series. She currently attends Webster's High School and plays for the Strathmore Golf Club.
