One Final Pre-Conference Tune-Up For Cougars at Bryan National Collegiate

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston women's golf team will compete in the 20th Annual Bryan National Collegiate co-hosted by UNCG and Wake Forest on March 31-April 2 at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center in Browns Summit, N.C.
This year's competitive tournament field is comprised of seven Top 25-ranked teams including 11 in the Top 40 in UNCG, Wake Forest, Alabama, Baylor, Colorado State, Georgetown, Georgia, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, UCF and Virginia.
The Cougars, who last competed in the tournament in 2015 where they finished 13th, will start senior Laura Fuenfstueck (Langen, Germany), senior Vici Drechsler (Munich, Germany), junior Josefine Garton (Linkoping, Sweden), freshman Anna-Theresa Rottluff (Meerbusch, Germany) and freshman Victoria Huskey (Greenville, S.C.). It will be the team's final tune-up before heading to the CAA Women's Golf Championship.
"Going to Bryan Park is always a good challenge for us," CofC Head Coach Jamie Futrell said. "The tournament combines the best field of the year for us along with a very challenging golf course."
CofC will be paired with Georgetown and Penn State and tee-off the No. 10 in tomorrow's first round at 10 a.m. (ET). Live tournament scoring for all rounds will be available at: www.Golfstat.com.
