Tindall Set to Compete at NCAA East Preliminaries

CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston senior Julisa Tindall will have the opportunity to add another chapter to her excellent collegiate career this weekend, when she heads to the campus of the University of Kentucky to take part in the 2017 NCAA East Preliminaries.
Tindall qualified for the high jump by way of a 1.75m effort at the Colonial Relays, a height that tied her for 24th in the East region. The native of Rock Hill went on to claim silver at the CAA Championships in Newark, Del. earlier this month.
Sporting a personal best height of 1.84m that she set during her sophomore year, Tindall has the potential to make huge waves in the competition. Matching her PR would place her among the Top 10, and could secure her a trip to the NCAA Championships in June. Tindall previously competed at the 2015 NCAA East Preliminaries in Jacksonville, where she finished 18th overall.
The meet will run from Thursday May 25 through Saturday May 27 at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Lexington, Ky. Tindall will compete in the high jump on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
