Location: Charleston, S.C. (TD Arena)
Records: CofC (2-2, 0-0 CAA) Coker (0-2, 0-0 SAC)
The Short Story: Four Cougars scored in double digits as CofC comfortably takes down Coker for its second consecutive win.

QUICK FACTS
  • Sophomore Latrice Perkins led all scorers with 18 points while also grabbing six rebounds. Perkins has scored in double digits in all four games this season for the Cougars.
  • Freshmen Taylor Williams and Madison Taylor each scored a season-high with 14 and 13 points, respectively, while both collecting three steals apiece.
  • Senior Deja Ford recorded 11 points while shooting a perfect 6-6 from the stripe in only 15 minutes played.
  • The Cougars forced 33 turnovers which tied the most in a game since 2010 when CofC took down Wofford.
  • Sophomore Arynn Eady poured in a season-high 8 points and also brought in a season-high 12 rebounds, including six offensive boards.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After winning the tip, The College went on a 6-0 run to start the game, sparked by a Williams mid-range jumper.
  • Coker cut the lead to 8-7 at the 7:09 mark of the first quarter but CofC then went on a 15-2 run to end the quarter.
  • Ford hit a three pointer at the 7:59 mark of the second quarter that sparked a 13-3 run that gave the Cougars a 21-point lead.
  • The Cougars led by 24 points at the half with a score of 46-22.
  • CofC and Coker played an almost even third quarter scoring 22 and 20 points, respectively.
  • Senior Baileigh Larson scored her second bucket of the season after putting away a layup from a freshman Nia Covington pass to give us a 70-44 lead at the 9:35 mark of the fourth quarter.
  • Perkins gave the Cougars their only 30-point lead of night when she knocked down two free throws.

HEAD COACH ROBIN HARMONY
"We're happy to get out of here with a win. I think Coker is a very good team and they are going to do well in their league. I played a lot of kids and I think that Taylor Williams as a freshman, had a good game. Latrice Perkins got into foul trouble so that helped having that second person that could step up and we also had four kids in double figures. I think the part that I can say I was not happy about was the turnovers. We had 25 turnovers and we didn't really get pressed until the end of the game. So, it's something that, obviously, when you play a lot of kids it happens, but it wasn't from the bench that was turning it over, it was players that had valuable minutes up until now. So they really just didn't take care of the rock like we wanted them to."

WHAT'S NEXT
The Cougars remain at home to face off against North Carolina Central on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at TD Arena.
