CofC fell to Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. by a score of 106-50 in its first road game of the season. Freshman Taylor Williams scored a team-high 15 points while sophomore Latrice Perkins poured in 10 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds. The Demon Deacons held the Cougars to 24.3% from the field.

- The Cougars return four starters from the 2018-19 season including senior Deja Ford and sophomores Madison Taylor, Arynn Eady and Tyler Collins.
- Ford was named a Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention.
- The College introduce four new faces to the squad this year.
- CofC returns eight letterwinners from the 2018-19 season.
- Ford needs only 228 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone
- The all-time series stands at 5-0 in favor of the Demon Deacons with the last meeting ending in a 77-40 win for Wake Forest on Dec. 12, 2017.
Scouting High Point
- The Panthers won their lone exhibition contest of the year, defeating Converse College 69-45 on Oct. 27.
- Only four players that saw playing time last year return for High Point, led by senior guard Camryn Brown. She averaged 9.7 points per game and a team-high 4.7 assists per game.
- Also returning are seniors Miya Bull and Olivia VanSlooten and sophomore Skyler Curran.
- Five newcomers join the team this year, three of which are true freshman Cydney Johnson, Callie Scheier, and Amaria McNear. Joining those three are a pair of transfers, with redshirt freshman Courtney Meadows coming from Georgetown and junior Chyna McMichel coming from Miami Dade College.
