
Cougars Dominate Lehigh In 5-1 Win

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The College of Charleston men's tennis team made it three wins in a row with a convincing 5-1 win over Lehigh on Monday afternoon at Patriots Point, taking all three doubles wins alongside four singles victories.
The Cougars dominated doubles action, winning on all three courts with Robby Krick and Ben Cawston taking a 6-0 win on court three, #54 ranked duo of Johnny Wang and Benedikt Henning winning 6-2. Easton Thomas and Ksawery Pociej took a 6-2 win on court one to complete the sweep.
Henning continued his court one domination in singles action, making it 10 straight wins in the number one spot with a 6-4, 6-0, win. Pociej winning his third straight match on court five, the sophomore also winning in straight sets with a 6-0, 6-3 win.
Krick gave Charleston the win on court six with a 6-0, 6-4 win to make it 4-0, Cawston battling back from a first set deficit to take the 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10), win on court three.
The Mountain Hawks took the win on court four to pull a point back, Thomas going into a tiebreak in a second set on court two before rain stopped play and the match was called.
With the Cougars taking a 5-1 win, they move to 11-2 on the season, continuing the run of home matches tomorrow against Radford at 3 p.m.
