A weekend on the road awaits Charleston when they travel to James Madison and Elon, Apr. 6-7, before returning to the lowcountry for two home matches to close out the regular season.
Quotable – Head Coach Angelo Anastopoulo
"I was real happy for
Ava Turner to come back and win her match in three sets to earn our teams first 7-0 victory of the year… Savannah State can be a tricky team, they've had some close matches so to come out here and win 7-0 without our three seniors in the starting lineup is a credit to our teams performance… This should give us a little boost heading into a conference weekend with a team that's predicted to win the CAA in James Madison and of course Elon, we always have great battles, seems like every match comes down to a 4-3 so a very challenging weekend coming up that we're going to need to be at our best."
