MT. PLEASANT, S.C. --- Griffin McLarty (Buckner, Ky.) struck out 11 in seven strong innings,
Danny Wondrack (Wall, N.J.) launched his league-leading 13
th home run of the season, and
Nathan Ocker (Middletown, Pa.) recorded his 25
th career save in College of Charleston's 4-2 win over Towson on Friday evening at Patriots Point.
With the victory, College of Charleston (30-19, 11-8 CAA) clinches the 19
th 30-win season in program history and extends its lead over William & Mary for second in the CAA standings to three games in the loss column. McLarty held Towson (13-35, 6-13 CAA) to one run on three hits in seven innings to earn his seventh win of the season. The junior right-hander fanned 11 batters to reach the 100-strikeout mark for the first time in his career.

Wondrack paced the offense with a solo home run – the 33
rd of his career – and two runs scored in a 2-for-4 effort.
Logan McRae (Florence, S.C.) drove in one and reached twice as
Bradley Dixon (Greenwood, S.C.) went 2-for-4.
Ari Sechopoulos (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) plated the eventual winning run with a sac fly in the fourth. Ocker pitched a scoreless ninth to record his 11
th save of the season and the 25
th of his career.

Javon Fields collected two of Towson's five hits and drove in a run as Trey Martinez launched a solo homer in the third. Josh Seils allowed four runs on six hits in seven innings to take the loss.
