LARAMIE, Wyo. --- Senior Lauren Freed recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs, and the College of Charleston volleyball team fought off a pair of match points in set three before falling to host Wyoming, 3-0, on Friday evening at the UniWyo Invite.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Wyoming put up a stiff block with 11 denials in three sets – including six in the opening stanza – and minimized its mistakes in a straight set victory. The Cougars gave the Cowgirls everything they had in the final two sets with 32 of their 40 kills in that span. Both teams finished with 40 kills with Wyoming committing 11 errors compared to 26 for the Cougars. The Cowgirls won the match by scores of 25-13, 25-21 and 27-25.

COUGAR OF THE MATCH
Freed rebounded with a solid performance against Wyoming highlighted by her 29^th career double-double. The senior finished with 12 kills, 11 digs, two blocks and one service ace.

NOTABLES

Peyton Eisnaugle accounted for six kills on 13 swings without an error and added one block.
Amani Dunston dished out 15 assists and collected seven digs.
Logan Manusky led the defense with 13 digs.
Sylvia Duggan put down seven kills to go along with 10 digs.
Freshman Tori Carpenter finished with a team-high 19 assists.
Emma Falk delivered several key plays with four kills and a pair of blocks.
The Cougars amassed 19 of their 40 kills in the third set.
