HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tribe started the game off on an 8-1 run before the Cougars answered with a 4-0 run themselves.
- Eady sparked a 7-0 run with a jump hook at the 7:09 mark of the second quarter, followed by a three pointer from senior Cailin Dorsey that cut the Tribe lead to four points.
- W&M finished the half on a 7-0 run to extend its lead to 12.
- Williams scored the first bucket of the third quarter as she took advantage of a Tribe turnover to cut the lead back to 10.
- The Tribe took their largest lead of the game at the time (18 points) at the 4:45 mark of the third and also finished the quarter with the same lead after a back-and-forth scoring affair between the Cougars and the Tribe.
- W&M converted 10 of its 11 shots in the third quarter while shooting a perfect 2-2 from deep and 4-4 from the stripe.
- At the 8:24 mark of the fourth, W&M took a lead of 21 and never let it get below 20 points.
