CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston Women's Basketball treks north to face off against Northeastern on Friday, Jan. 31 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on FloSports.
Last Outing
The College snapped a four-game losing skid with a big win over UNCW at home on Jan. 26 by a score of 67-63. Sophomore Tyler Collins, freshman Taylor Williams and senior Deja Ford led the Cougars in scoring with 15, 14, and 11 points, respectively. Sophomore Arynn Eady poured in nine points while grabbing a career-high 18 boards, which ties for fourth most in a single game in program history. In addition, she recorded a career-high five blocks, the first Cougar to do so since the 2014-15 season. The game featured six ties and six lead changes. The Cougars were up by seven at the 1:59 mark of the fourth quarter, but the Seahawks stormed back to tie it up at 60-60 and forced it into overtime. CofC fell behind by two points in the first minute of OT but climbed right back and retook the lead with a couple of made free throws by Perkins and Collins.

The Huskies come into the game with an overall record 8-10 and a 4-3 record in conference play. They currently ride a two-game losing streak, most recently falling to league-leader James Madison, by a score of 67-54. The Huskies are currently fourth in the league entering this weekend's slate of games.
Head coach Kelly Cole is in the midst of her sixth season at the helm of the program. Last season, Cole guided her team to a 20-12 overall record and made an appearance in the WNIT Tournament. She has accumulated an overall record of 75-97.
The team is led by Alexis Hill and Stella Clark, who averaged 13.5 and 13.2 points per game, respectively. In addition, Hill leads the team in rebounds with 6.6 per game and in blocks with 19 this season.

- Eady earned Harris Teeter Student-Athlete of the Week honors twice this season for play through Nov. 13-19 and Jan. 22-28.

- The Cougars return four starters from the 2018-19 season including senior Deja Ford and sophomores Madison Taylor, Arynn Eady and Tyler Collins.
