Cougars Travel to UNCW Friday

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston women's tennis team will travel to Wilmington, N.C. to take on UNCW in Colonial Athletic Association play on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Charleston enters Friday's match at 8-9 on the season following a sweep of NCAA Division II Augustana on Wednesday. Eva Nyikos is riding a nine-match winning streak and leads the Cougars with a 10-2 record in singles play. She and Kate Earnhardt are 5-4 in doubles action while Clara Errard and Halli Trinkle have partnered for a 2-0 mark.

Scouting UNCW
The Seahawks enter the weekend with a 7-7 record following a narrow 4-3 win over Campbell on Thursday. Zoe Huffman is 6-2 in singles play while Brinley Bell carries a 4-2 mark. Bell and Anna Daniels are 5-2 this season in doubles action including three wins in the third flight.
