COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Logan Manusky and Ella Ridinger went 2-0 to lead the College of Charleston beach volleyball team to a split with UNCW and No. 16 South Carolina on the final day of the Palmetto Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cougars won at one's, three's and five's to edge UNCW for their second win of the weekend in the morning session. South Carolina held on for a 4-1 win over Charleston in the final match of the day with the Cougars winning at three's.

PAIR OF THE DAY
Ridinger and Manusky collected a pair of straight-set victories to lead the way for the Cougars. The duo opened the day with a 21-12, 21-10 win at three's against UNCW before defeating South Carolina's No. 2 pairing 21-19, 16-21, 16-14.

NOTABLES

Ella Reames and Maria Zweig dropped two matches on the same day for the first time this season to move to 14-8.
Amani Dunston and Emma Falk posted a gritty 21-18, 22-20 win at five's against UNCW.
Sky Benjamin and Rebeca Olariu pulled out a hard-fought 27-29, 23-21, 18-16 victory in the top flight against the Seahawks.
