Dunagan Four Shots Off Lead at The Stitch Intercollegiate

CARY, N.C. – College of Charleston graduate senior Hunter Dunagan (Augusta, Ga.) is tied for sixth (-5) and four shots off leader Christian Salzer of NC State (-9) at the Stitch Intercollegiate held at MacGregor Downs Country Club.
Dunagan fired an opening-round 70 with five birdies and eagled the par-5 9th during his second round on Friday. He had one more hole left until Round Two was suspended due to lightening at 6:55 p.m. (ET).
The final holes of the second round will resume on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. (ET) with a shotgun start. Each of the 12 teams in the field will immediately begin the final round once the second round is completed.
The Cougars are currently in fifth shooting 11-under par through 35 holes. No. 9-ranked and host NC State leads the pack (-21) followed by No. 26 Notre Dame (-20) second, Virginia Tech third (-19), ETSU fourth (-17) and No. 40 Duke sixth (-6).
