
Cougars Travel to JMU, Elon This Weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston women's tennis team will be on the road for two matches in Colonial Athletic Association play this weekend. Charleston will face James Madison on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Harrisonburg, Va. followed by a Sunday matchup at 1:00 p.m. against Elon in Elon, N.C.
The Cougars
Charleston enters Friday's match at 9-10 overall and 1-1 in CAA play following a 5-2 win against South Carolina State on Wednesday. Eva Nyikos is 11-3 on the season in singles play while Halli Trinkle is close behind at 10-3. Nyikos and Kate Earnhardt lead the way for the Cougars with six wins in doubles play.

The Dukes enter the weekend with a 9-3 overall record and a 4-0 mark in CAA play following a 6-1 win over Marshall on Friday. Alexis Franco and Kylie Moulin have both accumulated 10 wins in singles play with Daniela Voloh is 9-1 on the season. Moulin and Jona Roka are 8-2 thus far at No. 2 doubles.
Scouting Elon
Elon comes into the weekend with a 14-4 overall record and a 3-1 mark in CAA play after knocking off UNCG, 5-2, on Friday. Lizette Reding paces the Phoenix with a 13-3 mark in singles action while Victoria Saldh sports a 13-4 record. Saldh and Sofia Edo are 11-5 on the season in doubles play including a 7-3 mark in the third flight.
