CHARLESTON, S.C. --- The College of Charleston women's soccer team (1-6-2) welcomed the Jacksonville Dolphins (5-2-2) to Patriots Point for a Sunday afternoon nonconference match. The two teams played to full time with the contest ending in a 1-1 draw.
The Cougars got the scoring started early, as junior Natalie Sgro found the back of the net to give Charleston an early 1-0 advantage. CofC held onto that lead for 80 minutes before Jacksonville scored the equalizer in the 86th minute.
The match would go into full time with no more goals scored and result in a 1-1 draw.
