HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – College of Charleston dropped a 5-0 decision at Hofstra and then was eliminated from CAA postseason contention when Northeastern and William & Mary both won their matches.
The Cougars finished with a record of 5-7-5 and 3-4-2 in the CAA. With 11 points, Charleston placed one point behind Drexel and William & Mary for the final tournament spot.
Chris Elliott had three of Charleston's six shots against the Pride, and Justin Bauer made five saves.
