RICHMOND, VA. – On the strength of four goals in two games, College of Charleston freshman Chris Elliott has been named the CAA Offensive Player of the Week.
Elliott began the week with a pair of goals in a 3-0 win over UNC Asheville on Tuesday and had another brace in a 2-2 draw with William & Mary on Sunday. Both goals against the Tribe came in the second half as the Cougars erased a 2-0 halftime deficit.
The forward from London increased his season total to seven to give him sole possession of first place in the CAA, and he is also tied for the conference lead with 15 points.
Charleston is 3-3-3 overall and 2-1-2 in the CAA entering Tuesday's non-conference home game against Incarnate Word. The Cougars are tied for fourth with William & Mary with eight points.
